- The NYOrtho Half Seat Wedge provides the support necessary to help correct an uneven pelvis. With the thicker end of the wedge under the patient's lower pelvis, the sitting position is raised to a neutral position, resulting in equal weight distribution and upright sitting position. For best results, place the user's wheelchair cushion on top of the wedge.
- Corrects posture of those patients suffering from lateral pelvic tilt.
- High density beveled polyethylene provides a firm foundation to offset lateral pelvic tilt, resulting in increased trunk elongation, upright sitting position and decreased leaning to one side.
- Aids feeding and other activities where posture and alertness are important.
- Aggressive non-slip cover keeps wedge in place.
